Engage Employee Wellness Program The Engage Employee Wellness Program promotes employee health through a variety of educational and fun activities throughout the year. The Engage Wellness Committee is comprised of employees from every department throughout the District. Employees who participate in 10 onsite or online (Rally Wellness Portal) activities qualify for special recognition throughout the year. The program is voluntary and open to all District regular, benefitted employees. Individual health files are maintained for each employee through John Muir Health. These files are confidential and will not be released to the District without written consent from the employee. Participant does not need to be a John Muir Health patient to participate. As of December 2023, John Muir Health no longer offers onsite wellness services. The District is currently searching for a wellness program provider to begin in early 2025. z W December 3, 2024 Regular ADMIN Committee Meeting Agenda Packet - Page 29 of 102 1 Page 3 of 8 Engage Employee Wellness Activities 2023 Health Expo Services: Lipid panel plus glucose, blood pressure, body composition, shoulder massage, healthy snacks, and more, designed to engage community to "know your numbers" and seek follow up care if necessary. Wellness Seminars/Webinars Health topics chosen by the Wellness Committee are presented by certified health professionals throughout the year. John Muir Health also offers "other" recurring health & wellness webinars presented by certified 1 health professionals throughout the year, that District employees are invited to.Topics range from Heart Health to Medicare 101, and more. Self-Care/Onsite Massage Program: Relaxing onsite chair massage for employees to get a much needed 10- minute break for renewed energy and productivity. Engage Employee Wellness Activities 2023 Continued Flu Vaccination Program: ' Four strain, preservative -free flu vaccines given by a Registered Nurse. Health Education Information: Health flyers and wellness tips sent periodically based on trending health & wellness topics, as well as follow ups to presentations given throughout the year. It's not"bad":your body needs it to build cells. But too much can be a problem. • Cholesterol comes from two sources.Your body (specifically your liver) makes all the cholesterol you need.The rest you get from foods from animals. Participants were able to get their blood pressure taken at the "Expo Clinic" in June/July. . 2019 .2020 .2022 .2023 Data from 2021 omitted due to COVID-19.
