A regular meeting of the Board of Directors was called to order by President Lauritzen at
2:30 p.m. Secretary Pro Tern Eileen Hansen called roll.
PRESENT.- Members: Hockett, McGill, Pilecki, Wedington, Lauritzen
ABSENT.• Members: None
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Board, staff and audience joined in the Pledge of Allegiance.

1. New employees:

BOARD ACTION: Welcomed Ms. Fisher and Mr. Dwight.
CONSENT CALENDAR
2. Approve the following:
a. October 17, 2024 Board meeting minutes
3. Approve expenditures incurred September 6, 2024 through October 17, 2024
4. Receive Budget -to -Actual Expenditure overview through the month of August 2024
5. Set a public hearing for December 5, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. to receive comments and declare
portions of 4737 Imhoff Place (APN 159-150-057) as currently unneeded, and authorize
the General Manager or designee to execute lease agreements for a period not to
exceed ten years
6. Approve Board Calendar for 2025
BOARD ACTION: After receiving no public comments, a motion was made by Member
Wedington and seconded by Member Hockett to adopt the Consent Calendar as
recommended. Motion passed by unanimous roll call vote.
7. General Manaer —Announcements
Deputy General Manager — Administration Phil Leiber announced that there was an
employee seriously injured on Wednesday, November 5, 2024 in an electrical
incident while working. The employee is currently being treated in the hospital and
Mr. Leiber conveyed the District's good wishes for a quick and full recovery.
BOARD ACTION: After receiving no public comments, the Board received the
announcements.

9. Secretary of the District
Ms. Hansen announced the following upcoming Committee meetings:
Real Estate, Environmental & Planning - Tuesday, November 19 at 8:30 a.m.
Finance - Tuesday, November 19 at 2:30 p.m.

REQUESTS FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
President Lauritzen requested the Board of Directors revisit the possibility of implementing
a program to assist low-income Central San ratepayers with payment of their sewer fees
and charges.
A general consensus of the Board was made regarding the addition of an item to
reconsider the possibility of creating such a program.
ANNOUNCE CLOSED SESSION(pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6
District Counsel Leah Castella announced that a closed session would be held for Item 13.
RECESS TO CLOSED SESSION
The Board recessed at 2:38 p.m. to reconvene in a closed session in the Caucus Room.

13. Conference with Legal Counsel — Significant Exposure to Litigation pursuant to
Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(2): Number of potential cases: one.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:25 p.m. to the November 21, 2024 meeting.
