SUBJECT: ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT FOR DSP 2259, GREEN VALLEY
CREEK (WATERSHED 35 NO.)
1. PROBLEM: The project has been evaluated pursuant to District Ordinance 89,
and it has been determined that the District is the lead agency. An
environmental assessment must be made.
The Environmental Impact Assessment is submitted on the accompanying form.
2. RECOMMENDATION: Find that the project will not have a significant effect
on the environment; therefore, a negative declaration should be prepared.

Staff Determination
The District's staff, having undertaken and completed an initial studs-
of this project in accordance with Section 16-603 of the District's guide-
lines entitled, "Local Guidelines Implementing the California Environmental
Quality Act of 1970, as Amended," for the purpose of ascertaining whether
the proposed project might have a significant effect on the environment, has
reached the following conclusion:
( x) 1. The project could not have a significant effect on the environ-
ment; therefore, a negative declaration should be prepared.
( ) 2. The project could have a significant effect on the environment;
therefore, an EIR will be required.

SUBJECT: Craut Deed to East Bay ^iunicipal Utility District
for a portion of the Old Sacramento Northern Railroad
right--of-ways in the vicinity of St. Mary's College.
1. PROBLEH: E.B.M.U.D. desires to purchase a portion of the
Sanitary District property (2.6 acres) for the sum of $13,100.
2. BACKGROUND: Staff has reviewed their request and has determined
that this parcel is not necessary for present or future projected
needs of this Sanitary District.
3. RECOMMENDATION: Approval and authorize acceptance of payment and
execution of deed.
