Rhodes, owner of Parcel "C" 3 P.M. 37 desires to build a carport over our easement (4246 O.R. 81) near Creekside Lane in Pleasant Hill. BACKGROUND-. The District has allowed construction over our easements in the past subject to their signing our standard form "Agreement Re- lating to Real Property". RECOMMENDATION: Approval. PROBLEM: The selection of an Auditor for this fiscal year's accounts should be made sufficiently in advance of the end of the fiscal year to permit early scheduling of the District work. Also, the cost of the audit must be reflected in the 1973-74 Budget. 2. RECOMMENDATION: Board instruction to management on the method of selection of the auditor. Respectfully submitted, W. C. NEW BUS 3 April 12, 1973 MEMORANDUM FOR: HONORABLE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS VIA: G. A. Horstkotte, Jr., General Manager -Chief Engineer SUBJECT: Environmental Evaluation & Report for Project 2100, Rudgear Road PROBLEM: This project, which is a trunk sewer to serve Watershed 29 South being financed primarily with private capital, requires an Environmental Assessment and Declaration. This District is the lead agency and staff study shows the project will not have a significant environmental effect. BACKGROUND: We have reviewed this project with the City of Walnut Creek and have submitted a preliminary environmental statement to the County. With the adoption of Ordinance 89, we will follow the procedures therein. RECOMMENDATION: (1) Acceptance of staff determinations; (2) Adoption of Resolution Making Negative Declaration and providing for Notice; (3) Set review for approval or disapproval for second meeting in May.
