ISSUE: A resolution of the Board of Directors is required to accept offers of dedication,
and to authorize staff to record the documents.
RECOMMENDATION: Adopt a resolution accepting offers of dedication for easements
and authorizing staff to record the resolution with the Contra Costa County Recorder.
FINANCIAL IMPACTS: The new easements were acquired at no cost to the District.
ALTERNATIVES/CONSIDERATIONS: None.
BACKGROUND: The Haven Lane sewer
extension was constructed in 2000. Twelve
easements on Haven Lane were needed to
accommodate the new alignment. Six property
owners have signed Irrevocable Offers of
Dedication (IOD), and additional offers of <
dedication will be submitted for Board
acceptance once the subsequent IODs are
obtained from the remaining owners as
properties are connected to the sewer.
RECOMMENDED BOARD ACTION: Adopt a
resolution accepting offers of dedication from
the attached list (Exhibit A) of property owners
in the Haven Lane neighborhood in the
