SUBJECT: CSOD ADMINISTRATION, CREW, AND WAREHOUSE FACILITY,
DISTRICT PROJECT 8208, CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS
At the October 7, 2010 Board meeting, staff reported that the contractor was 46
calendar days behind schedule. Significant progress was made since the last
report. Structural steel erection started and the building tilt -up panels were
fabricated and installed. The contractor has taken action to make up time on
their schedule, and staff calculates the result is a gain of 14 calendar days. As of
October 14, 2010, the contractor is 32 calendar days behind schedule with 286
calendar days remaining.
Staff believes there is sufficient time (10 months) and opportunities to gain days
on the schedule. It should be noted that it is possible that construction progress
may slip further due to issues such as future rain delays, although that is less
likely once the building frame and exterior are completed.
Staff will keep the Board updated on the construction progress.
