ISSUE
The Board of Directors (Board) may consider adopting a proposed ordinance to amend the District Code
after a noticed public hearing has occured.
BACKGROUND
Staff has identified three sections within District Code which require updates, corrections, or clarifications.
The anticipated sections that will be brought forth for consideration at a public hearing as a codified
ordinance include 6.12.040 D (Time of Payment of Capacity Fees) and two sections of Title 10 (Source
Control.)
Legal notices will be published accordingly in the Contra Costa Times and San Ramon Valley Times.
The Notice of Public Hearing will also be posted on Central San's website.

ALTERNATIVES/CONSIDERATIONS
The Board may choose to set a public hearing for another date or time.
FINANCIAL IMPACTS
No impact by setting the public hearing.
COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION
The Finance Committee will review the proposed amendments at its May 21, 2024 meeting.
RECOMMENDED BOARD ACTION
Set a public hearing for June 6, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. to receive comments on proposed updates to various
sections of the District Code and to consider adopting a codified ordinance of the amendments.
