BACKGROUND Currently, there are two Administrative Services Assistant positions that provide administrative support to their assigned functions within the Administration Department as well as day-to-day support for the Deputy General Manager -Administration. Staff is requesting to reclassify one of the positions and its incumbent to an Administrative Services Supervisor which will then oversee the remaining Administrative Services Assistant position. Additionally, the supervisor position will also be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all District wide events including but not limited to, Bring A Child To Work, Annual Employee Appreciation Event, Service Awards Luncheon, and other related events. They will also be the designated back-up to the Executive Assistant to the General Manager in order to support the General Manager in the case of her absence(s).
