HR Report - F ourth Quarter 2022 January 19, 2023 Regular Board Meeting Agenda Packet - Page 280 of 319 Page 1 of 6 Attachment 1 Board Meeting of January 19, 2023 General Manager Written Announcements HEALTH AND WELLNESS 1) 2023 Health & Wellness Expo - February 2023 The 2023 Health & Wellness Expo will be held at the following locations and times: Multipurpose Room – Martinez Campus Tuesday, February 14 – 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 15 – 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. Collection System Operations Lunchroom – Walnut Creek Campus Thursday, February 23 – 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. Wellness events include an online questionnaire and overall health risk appraisal, as well as various screenings: cholesterol, glucose, body composition, and blood pressure. Only Board Members and employees are eligible to participate. There is no charge, but appointments are necessary and can be scheduled via an online link provided to all District Staff. Questions may be directed to Central San’s John Muir Health Wellness representative, Elise Puskas, at elise.puskas@johnmuirhealth.com. HUMAN RESOURCES 2) Update on Personnel Actions – Fourth Quarter 2022 Attachment 2 provides the Human Resources report covering personnel actions for October 1 through December 31, 2022. PROJECT UPDATES 3) Public Bidding of Pump and Blower Building (PBB) Roof Replacement, District Project 7370 The PBB Roof Replacement Project will replace several roofs within the treatment plant, including sections at the Plant Operations Building complex. A roof assessment was completed, and the roofs selected are considered a high priority for replacement due to years of saturation, deterioration in several waterproofing layers, continued repairs, and new leaks have been observed the past two winters. The Engineer’s estimate is $1.2 million. This project will be advertised on February 1 and February 7, 2023. A bid opening will be scheduled for March 1, 2023. More information will be presented when the Board is asked to award the construc tion contract at its April 6, 2023 meeting. Additionally, the Board requested an announcement when construction projects have been accepted, which occurs when the Notice of Completion is recorded with the County Recorder’s Office.
