CALL MEETING TO ORDER Chair McGill called the meeting to order at 3 p.m. 2. PUBLIC COMMENTS None. 3. OLD BUSINESS None. 4. CLAIMS MANAGEMENT No new claims were reported. The Committee reviewed the recommended rejection of Mr. Joe Fitzpatrick's claim. Staff reported that Small Claims Court found in favor of the District regarding the automobile accident where a CSO worker was rear-ended at a stop sign. Mr. Garvey is to pay the District $1,301.24. ft " Recycled Paper 5. REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS a. Ten-Year Plan Assumptions The Ten-Year Plan assumptions were reviewed with the Committee. The Committee requested that a scenario be included in the Plan that shows the results of the State taking the ad-valorem tax from Special Districts based on the Governor's recent statements. b. White Paper and AON Report - GASS 45 The Committee reviewed the final actuarial report and recommended that the full Board give staff direction to research and present policies and trust options to the Board at a future Board Meeting leading to the consideration of forming a trust. c. Review of Funds Required The Committee reviewed a staff report and graph that explained the cash flow cycle of the District's revenue, and minimum balances required to cover payments made between June 30th and Dec 15th of each year. The Committee found the amount of funds required to be reasonable. 6. REVIEW EXPENDITURES Expenditures were reviewed and there were no outstanding questions. 7. ADJOURNMENT - at 3:40 p.m.
