• Promotes employee health, safety, and wellness
• Educational activities
•Athletic and health-related challenges
• Helps employees to keep track of their health
• On-site gym at Martinez and Walnut Creek campuses
•Voluntary and open to all District regular employees
•Contracted through John Muir Health

2021 ACTIVITIES
• Wellness Expo Services:
• Lipid panel plus glucose, blood pressure, body composition, shoulder
massage, healthy snacks, online well-being assessment, and more,
designed to engage community to"know your numbers"and seek
follow up care if necessary
• Quarterly Blood Pressure Screenings:
• Due to COVID-19, onsite blood pressure screenings were canceled.
John Muir Health provided blood pressure educational services in
place of onsite readings
• Nutrition Education:
• Due to COVID-19, onsite fruit and veggie delivery was canceled. John
Muir Health virtual nutrition consultations for weight management in
lieu of in 2021

• Health & Fitness Challenges:
• Individual and team challenges designed around weight management,
fitness and other health-conscious activities
• Flu Vaccination Program:
• Convenient onsite flu vaccines given by a registered nurse
• Health Education Information:
• Monthly health education flyers and monthly wellness tips
• Rally Wellness Portal:
• Online platform designed to promote and encourage healthy behavior
changes through individual and team challenges throughout the year
