The following are recommendations from the Contra Costa County Health Officer to minimize the risk of COVID 19 transmission during a public meeting. f► 1. Online meetings(i.e.teleconferencing meetings)are encouraged, where practical,as these meetings present the lowest risk of transmission of SARS CoV-2,the virus that causes COVID 19.This is particularly important when community prevalence rates are high. Our current trends as of April 15, 2022 in Covid-19 case rate and Covid-19 hospitalizations have plateaued at this time, but wastewater surveillance data and COVID-19 test positivity has been increasing. In addition to this, the predominant variant of Covid-19 being identified continues to be the Omicron variant, the impact of which on the spread ofCovid-19 has shown to dramatically increase COVID-19 transmission. — ' 2 CONTRA COSTA COUNTY UPDATES Vaccine & Booster Progress in Contra Costa Fully Vaccinated Boosted 82.31 58.2% Percentage of all residents who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and the percentage of residents rages 12t who have received a boosterladditionat dose of the CCVID-39 vaccine. 4 ' 5 rt CONTRA COSTA COUNTY UPDATES Current Cases and Hospitalizations Average New Cases per People who are Day hospitalized Tota 1 73 26 change over past -2.1% -38.5%t week One week trend 0 Stable i Decreasing tComparing the 7-day average number of patients hospitalized for CCVID-I9 in Contra Costa County between this week and the previous week. 5 6 3 CONTRA COSTA COUNTY UPDATES 7-Day Rolling Average%of New Tests Positive by Collection Day 39.04 20.0% LU-9% o.ex 412 g 711I20z0 10/11700 1111"71 41112021 7/112021 1911/2021 1/111022 411... 6 ' 7 WASTEWATER COLLECTION UPDATES -.1 .
