SUBJECT: RECEIVE INTRODUCTION TO THE CALIFORNIA SANITATION RISK
MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY (CSRMA) EXCESS LIABILITY PROGRAM
Seth Cole of Alliant Insurance Services and Program Manager for the California Sanitary Risk
Management Authority (CSRMA) will provide an introduction to the pool's Excess Liability Program.
CSRMA is a joint powers authority (J PA) providing insurance coverage to participating California Sanitary
agencies. This awareness is of value as staff may recommend a move to CSRMA for this insurance
coverage due to "hard market" conditions in in the commercial insurance market. Participating in a pool
such as CSRMA has both benefits and some potential drawbacks, and this discussion is intended to
establish awareness of both.
