KEY DATES
• 2/3/22 Email to employees offering on-site voluntary testing
options due to the recent Omicron surge.
• 2/4/22 Employees notified one employee had tested positive
for COVID-19. No exposure occurred, so contact tracing was not
required.
• 2/8/22 Employees notified one employee had tested positive
for COVID-19. HR conducted contact tracing.
• 2/8/22 Reminder email to employees about on-site voluntary
testing options.
• 2/9/22 Governor signs extension for COVID-19 supplemental
aid sick leave through September 30, 2022.

• 2/8/22 County appoints Dr. Ori Tzvieli as its new Health Officer.
• 2/10/22 Employees notified one employee had tested positive
for COVID-19. HR conducted contact tracing.
• 2/10/22 Email to employees on updates to state and local
masking requirements, and that Central San masking
requirements are still in effect.
• 2/15/22 Reminder email to employees about on-site voluntary
testing options.
• 2/15/22 Email reminding employees that Central San mask
mandates are still in effect.

KEY DATES
• 2/15/22 State lifts most indoor mask mandates. Unvaccinated
individuals over age 2 will continue to be required to wear masks in
all indoor public settings. Businesses, venue operators and hosts
may determine their own paths forward to protect staff and patrons
and may choose to require all patrons to wear masks. Indoor
masking is still required by the State for everyone, regardless of
vaccination status, in public transportation; health care settings;
congregate settings like correctional facilities and homeless shelters;
long term care facilities; and in K-12 schools and childcare settings.
2/16/22 County lifts most indoor mask mandates in line with

KEY DATES
• 2/16/22 Employees notified two employees had tested
positive for COVID-19. No exposure occurred, so contact
tracing was not required.
• The District has had a total of 83 total COVID-19 cases since
the beginning of the pandemic. Since 12/14/21 there has
been a total of 58 employees who have tested positive for
COVID-19 with nine total positive cases being from
unvaccinated employees.
