5) Central San's Resource Recovery Program Manager Sworn In as a new
Board Member for Mt. View Sanitary District
At the Special Board Meeting of the Mt. View Sanitary District (MVSD) held the morning
of January 12, 2022, Central San's Resource Recovery Program Manager,
Melody LaBella, was selected and sworn in as a Board Member for MVSD. The seat
opening occurred as a result of one of their Board members stepping down less than one
year into a four-year term. Prior to submitting an application for consideration, Ms. LaBella
informed the General Manager of her interest and met with District Counsel to confirm it
would not be a conflict of interest for her employment with Central San. MVSD's Board
meetings are typically held at 6:30 p.m., so no time conflict is anticipated in terms of
Ms. LaBella's normal working hours. Central San congratulates Ms. LaBella on her new
appointment.
