SUBJECT: ADOPT RESOLUTION NOS. 2021-053 THROUGH 2021-069 RECOGNIZING
2021 EMPLOYEE SERVICE AWARD RECIPIENTS
Central San recognizes employees for their service at each five-year interval of their employment. The
attached proposed group resolution recognizes all employees eligible for service awards in 2021.
Each service award recipient with 20 or more years with Central San will also receive an individual,
personalized resolution. This year's recipients are:
Mark Goss (35 years)

Steve Borrelli (20 years)
Don Botelli (20 years)
Jeffrey Butler (20 years)

be uploaded to the Central San's website upon adoption.

RESOLUTION NO. 2021-053
A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING
CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA SANITARY DISTRICT
EMPLOYEE SERVICE AWARD RECIPIENTS
WHEREAS, the good reputation and positive community relationships of an
organization are dependent on its competent, hard-working employees; and
WHEREAS, the continuing dedication and knowledge of experienced, long-term
employees is a significant asset to the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central
San); and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of Central San to recognize and honor these employees for
their service; and
WHEREAS, the collective efforts and dedication of these experienced and capable
employees have contributed to Central San's ability to consistently meet permit and
regulatory requirements and have shaped Central San into a nationally acclaimed
wastewater collection and treatment agency while serving the needs of Central San's
customers with efficiency and fiscal responsibility.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Central San,
that service awards are presented with appreciation to the following named employees:
35 years of service: Mark Goss, Paul Kelly
30 years of service: Steve Sauter
20 years of service: Steve Borrelli, Donald Botelli, Jeffrey Butler, DeWayne Derrick,
Garland Harris, Robert Maroon, Lance Miller, Christopher Newkirk, Paul Seitz, Jeffrey
Skinner, Michael Tarantino, Jeremiah Walsh, and David Wyatt
15 years of service: Anthony Harbaugh, Winston Ingram, Douglas Johnson, Kevin

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution is presented in unanimous
recognition and acknowledgment of the continuing service and unwavering dedication of
these outstanding employees.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7t" day of October 2021, by the Board of Directors of
