B AC K G RO UND As part of the Orchards Development, the previous property owner (Senior S ervices f or Northern C alif ornia) granted the adjoiner property owner (Shadelands Park) a private sanitary sewer easement across their property for a private sanitary sewer main that was installed across both properties with J ob 6569. At that time, the lateral connection for the f uture senior housing complex was to connect to a public sewer manhole located within the public roadway. Afterwards, the new property owner (Viamonte Senior L iving I ) requested to connect the senior housing complex directly into the private sewer main. To eliminate joint-maintenance responsibility concerns with J ob 6668, a segment of the private sewer was converted f rom private to public and an irrevocable offer of dedication was recorded to provide Central S an with the necessary land rights. T his alternative is not recommended as C entral San would not have recorded land rights to reconstruct, maintain or operate the public sanitary sewer that is owned by C entral San. Map Displayed in North American Datum of 1983 California State Plane, Zone III FIPS 0403, US Feet 1 Attachment 15' Wide Sanitary Sewer Easement to Central San Viamonte Senior Housing APN: 143-040-106 Shadel a n d s Dr N V ia Mon te July 20, 2021 Special REEP Committee Meeting Agenda Packet - Page 6 of 71 Page 3 of 4 RESOLUTION NO. 2021-_____ A RESOLUTION OF THE CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA SANITARY DISTRICT ACCEPTING A GRANT OF IRREVOCABLE OFFER OF DEDICATION OF A SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT AS RELATED TO JOBS 6668 AND 6569 LOCATED IN THE CITY OF WALNUT CREEK BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central San) as follows: THAT Central San hereby accepts the sanitary sewer easement as stated in Grant of Irrevocable Offer of Dedication, which is more specifically referred to as “Grant of Irrevocable Offer of Dedication (Easement for Sanitary Sewer Purposes) from Viamonte Senior Living I (VSLI) for APN 143-040-106, Job No. 6668 - ROW Parcel No.1”, which was recorded on June 25, 2018 as Document Series No. 2018-0100520 with the Contra Costa County Recorder; and THAT staff is authorized to record this resolution with the Contra Costa County Recorder.
