(Handout) Supplemental Information Central Contra Costa Sanitary District June 30, 2021 TO: Danea Gemmell, Planning & Development Services Division Manager CC: Mr. Sean Mullen (via e-mail) FROM: Thomas Brightbill, Senior Engineer SUBJECT: Additional Materials for Poshard Street Fee Appeal (Agenda Item 8) Mr. Mullen asked if we could provide the City of Pleasant Hill's response on our deed restriction inquiry to the Board of Directors. I let Mr. Mullen know we were not able to include the e-mail in the board packet due to timing issues, but that I thought we could provide it in a supplemental packet. I have attached a copy of Pleasant Hill's response to this memo. You and I talked about providing a copy of the floor plan of the proposed structure to the Board of Directors. I've attached the portion of sheet A4.1 cropped to show the proposed structure to this memo as well. encl. The city will not allow an ADU conversion without explicit permission from Central San, so they do not believe revising the language is warranted. Given Central San permission is required, it feels like the district is protected in the same manner as if Central San was listed on the deed restriction. What do you think? Our Chief Building Official, Geoff Simmons, has informed me that the Building Division's review of a hypothetical conversion ADU would require a letter from Central San prior to approving a building permit. Since the City's review and approval includes prior written approval from Central San, we will not revise our Deed Restriction at this time to include any outside agencies.
