B A I L E Y, G E NE R A L MA NA G E R S UB J E C T: R E C E I V E A N UP D AT E O N T HE D I A B L O C O UNT RY C L UB S AT E L L I T E WAT E R R E C YC L I NG FA C I L I T Y P R O J E C T A s a result of the recent request by the Golden R ain F oundation to submit an application on behalf of the Rossmoor Community for a S atellite Water Recycling F acility (S W R F) to serve their two golf courses, staff reached out to D iablo C ountry Club (D C C) to understand the status of their efforts to develop a S W R F project. S ince C entral San has a memorandum of understanding in place with D C C and since they had previously proceeded the f urthest with the development of their S W R F Project, Central S an has considered D C C its S W R F Demonstration P roject. S ince these types of projects have not been widely adopted, by starting with a single demonstration project, C entral San can evaluate any impacts f rom such a project and determine if it would be appropriate to allow additional S W R F projects within C entral San's service area. A summary of C entral San's past ef f orts to work with D C C to develop a S W R F Project is included in the attached presentation. A representative from D C C will attend the J une 14, 2021, Real Estate, E nvironmental & P lanning Committee meeting to share the status of their efforts and f uture plans for the project.
