Response
• 5/7/21 Contra Costa County offers no-appointment service at
all its COVID vaccination sites.
• 5/10/21 Governor announces largest tax rebate in American
history including two-thirds of Californians set to receive
Golden State Stimulus checks amounting to $12 billion in total and
$5 billion in funding for rental relief and water/utility assistance.
• 5/11/21 Californians aged 12+ are now eligible for vaccinations.
• 5/11/21 District holds collaborative discussions with
bargaining units for input on considerations and criteria for
w office-based employees may best transition onsite.

Response
• 5/13/21 CDC announces that both outdoor and indoor
activities can be done maskless if you are vaccinated. The
announcement contradicts State mandates which supersede
Federal guidelines.
• 5/14/21 COVID-19 vaccine clinics to open at Contra Costa
County school campuses.
• 5/14/21 Employees notified an employee had tested positive
for COVID-19 and contact tracing had begun. This was our
612th confirmed case.

• 5/17/21 California announces it will align its mask guidance
with Center for Disease Control's on June 15, 2021.
• 5/17/21 Employees notified an employee had tested positive
for COVID-19 and contact tracing had begun. This was our
13th confirmed case.
• 5/18/21 The number of employees who have voluntarily
reported being fully vaccinated — 113.
• 5/18/21 California has administered 34.8M vaccinations.

• 5/18/21 The District required COVID-19 testing of Collection
Systems Operation employees due to recent exposure. This is the
first likely Central San employee-to-employee transmission since the
pandemic started.
• 5/18/21 Email to employees regarding recent CDC guidelines and
vaccination opportunities.
• 5/18/21 Email to employees regarding the District's updated
COVID-19 Exposure Prevention Plan.
• 5/20/21 The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health
(Cal-OSHA) is set to vote on updated workplace regulations. Cal-
HA is not likely to repeal the standards completely.
