Response
• 4/1/21 Californians 50+ years old became eligible for the
COVID-19 vaccine.
• 4/6/21 More than 20 million vaccine doses have been
administered to Californians.
• 4/6/21 California announces it will fully open its economy on
June 15, 2021 if two criteria are met:
• If vaccine supply is sufficient for Californians 16 years and older;
and
�If hospitalization rates are stable and low

Response
• 4/7/21 Contra Costa County moves into the less restrictive
Orange Tier.
• 4/12/21 To date, 67 Central San employees have voluntarily
reported that they have been vaccinated. Anecdotally,
employees continue to share that they are in the process of
receiving first and second shots of the COVID-19 vaccination.
• 4/13/21 Center for Disease Control and Food and Drug
Administration recommend US pause use of Johnson &
Johnson's COVID-19 vaccine over blood clot concerns. County
aused use of Johnson & Johnson's vaccine.
