BAILEY, GENERAL MANAGER SUBJECT: PROVIDE DIRECTION ON RECREATIONAL VEHICLES (RV) RECEIVING STATION, DISTRICT PROJECT (DP) 7375 Central San is constructing a RV Receiving Station to allow proper disposal of RV toilet holding tanks. The construction is part of the Contractor Staging Improvements Project, DP 7375. Board input is requested on options for consideration regarding service level, operating hours, and fees to be charged for the service. Service Level: • Self Serve: Like Truck Fill Station; or • Attended: Like Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Residential Fill Station. Opening Hours: • Mon. - Fri. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sat. 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; or • Open everyday during daylight; or • Open all hours with automated gates. Fee for use: For RV owners who reside within Central San service area: • No cost for Central San customers, like HHW; or • $3 - $5 per visit using credit card reader. For RV owners outside Central San service area: • $3 - $5 per visit using credit card reader; or • $5 - $10 per visit using credit card reader.
