• 3/19/21 Governor signs SB 95 urgency legislation creating a
statewide policy to ensure employees have access to COVID-
19 supplemental paid sick leave through September 30, 2021.
• 3/22/21 Contra Costa County opens up vaccine eligibility to
those 50 years or older who live or work within the County.

• 3/22/21 Email sent to employees regarding Board of Directors
action to expand the authorization for employee use of
Emergency Paid Sick Leave of up to three days if an
employee must stay home due to side effects after getting
the COVID-19 vaccine(s).
• 3/25/21 Governor announces California will be expanding
vaccine eligibility based on expected vaccine supply
increases. Starting April 1 , 2021 , all California residents age 50
and older can get vaccines. Starting April 15, 2021 all California
esidents age 16 and older will be able to get vaccinated.

80 hours of paid sick leave for employees (retroactive to
January 1, 2021) unable to work due to specific COVID related
impacts.

compliance with urgency legislation SB 95.
