BAILEY, GENERAL MANAGER SUBJECT: RECEIVE UPDATE ON SATELLITE WATER RECYCLING FACILITIES, INCLUDINGA REQUEST FORA FACILITY IN ROSSMOOR, AND DISCUSS CREATION OFA DISTRICT POLICY FOR CONSIDERATION OF FUTURE SATELLITE RECYCLING FACILITIES Staff has recently been approached by Brezack&Associates Planning, on behalf of the Golden Rain Foundation, with a request to develop a Satellite Water Recycling Facility (SW RF)to serve the Rossmoor Community in Walnut Creek. Since Central San had previously supported the development of a SW RF Demonstration Project with the Diablo Country Club, which has not moved forward or had any activity with Central San since December 2018, staff would like to initiate a policy conversation with the Real Estate, Environmental & Planning (REEP) Committee on the topic of SWRFs and how they will be considered by Central San. Staff looks forward to reviewing the attached presentation at the January REEP Committee meeting.
