IMPROVEMENTS, DISTRICT PROJECT 7348
Staff will provide an update of the Solids Handling Facility Improvements project design status, expected
schedule, and State Revolving Fund (SRF) loan funding.

PROJECT DESIGN STATUS
• Scope of work and claims resolved with Black and
Veatch Corporation(BV)(presented at the August 20,
2020 Board meeting) _
• 100%Draft Submittal received on September 18,2020
• After review,staff issued a non-compliance letter to BV
for failure to meet agreed upon design scope on Oct. 5th
• BV unable to meet 100%Final Design Submittal target of
October 15,2020 as agreed
• Two weeks float time allowed to incorporate all Central
San comments
• Central San provided extensive list of review
comments and discrepancies on October 15,2020
• 100%Final Design Submittal,scheduled for October 30, � is ■
2020,now delayed by BV to November 13,2020 �I}a
• Staff and third party consultants will conduct a final
acceptance review
• Project will not be advertised until these comments
are incorporated into the bid set
