This bill would require employers to report an outreach to local public health officials and notify employees who may have been exposed within one business day. •9/23/20 Governor Newsom signs Executive Order to extend authorization for local governments to halt evictions for commercial renters impacted by COVID-19 through March 31 , 2021 . 2 ' CFNTPAI SAN 1 09/30/20 WORKING UNDER SHELTER Response •9/24/20 County Requires local health providers to expan COVID-19 testing. Health Order takes effect on October 8, 2020. Requires all private healthcare facilities to provide timely tests to essential workers, those with symptoms, and those exposed to COVID-19. County Health Services has sent a formal request to large providers including Kaiser Permanente and John Muir Health. •9/29/20 County qualifies to move to Red "Substantial" Tier. To move into the red tier, the County had to see average case rates drop below 7 per 100,000 people and testing positivity rates dip below 8%. For the past two weeks, the County has met those benchmarks. As of September 29, the case rate was 6.7 per 100,000 people and the testing positivity rate was 3.7%. ob MEMO= 3 ' WORKING UNDER SHELTER Response •9/29/20 County Qualifies to Move to Red "Substantial" Tier. The following sectors can reopen with modifications: • Places of worship, restaurants, movie theaters and museums can be operated indoors at 25% capacity or 100 people, whichever is less • Gyms can reopen indoors at 10% capacity •All personal care services, including massage, can move indoors • Indoor shopping malls can operate at 50% maximum occupancy (instead of 25%).
