(Handout) A&40t COVID = 19�rlp RESPONSE UPDATE Pandemic Response Team Co-coordinators Emily Barnett, Communications & Government Relations Manager Teji O'Malley, Human Resources Manager September 18, 2020 WORKING UNDER SHELTER Response •9/9/20 Governor Newsom signs multiple bills that will support small businesses impacted by COVID-19 pandemic. •9/14/20 Contra Costa County Updates Health Order to Align with California's COVID-19 Blueprint. This will allow some additional businesses to reopen, following the state health guidelines. •9/17/20 Governor Newsom signs AB 685 (Reyes). This bill would require employers to report an outreach to local public health officials and notify employees who may have been exposed within one business day. 1
