WORKING UNDER SHELTER
Response
• 8/12/20 Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS) added thousands of
records to its COVID-19 databases during the week after California
corrected a massive backlog in its case reporting system . The new
information may substantially change local data from as far back as
mid-July.
• Contra Costa has already received about 4,500 new records from the
California Department of Public Health (CDPH ) backlog and is now
verifying and entering these records into the County dashboard .
• The County is working with Kaiser Permanente and the CDPH to
resolve adata-reporting issue that has prevented an estimated 8,000 to
10,000 local test records from entering the County's database during
he past three weeks.
