Lopez, P.E. Capital Projects Division Manager CONSTRUCTION IN PROGRESS Contra Costa County Health Services(County Health)issued a COVID-19 Order on March 16, 2020,with multiple updates since. Construction projects during this timeframe include: Treatment Plant: • Mechanical and Concrete Renovations • Emergency Sludge Loadout Facility Upgrades • Plant Operations Building (POB)Seismic Upgrades • Server Room Relocation • Fire Protection System—Phase 2 • Outfall Improvements—Phase 7 • Plant Control System Input and Output(1/0) Replacement—Phase 2 Collection System: • Danville Sewer Renovations—Phase 3 • Pump Station(PS)Upgrades—Phase 1 • San Ramon DERWA and Lower Orinda PS Adjustable Speed Drive Replacements General Improvements: ■ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Replacement Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act(UPCCAA)Projects: • Several �;Z 1 June 22, 2020 Special EOPS Committee Meeting Agenda Packet- Page 19 of 24 Page 3 of 7 COVID-19 MEASURES Central San and its consultants or contractors have been under strict enforcement and adhering to the OSHA standards and County Health guidelines, which include, but are not limited to: • Updating company IIPP to include COVID-19 and training; • Daily COVID-19 safety log and sign-in sheets; • PPE (Face coverings, masks, gloves, etc.); • Handwashing and sanitizing stations; • Coordinating work activities to minimize interactions (with operations/contractors/private residents/construction management); • Signage and physical distancing; and • Contractor temperature checks. OSHA=Occupational Safety and Health Administration IIPP=Injury and Illness Prevention Plan PPE=Personal Protective Equipment I 3 MECHANICAL AND CONCRETE RENOVATIONS, DISTRICT PROJECT 7351 • Contractor—C. Overaa & Company • Contract—$10.7 Million (M) • Construction 91% complete • Replaced and installed new gates in the Primary Sedimentation Tanks (PSTs), Distribution Channel, and Pre-Aeration Tanks • Replaced and installed new stainless steel upper rails for flights in PSTs - • Completed coating work in the Headworks Wet Wells and tanks _..
