CUSTOMER OUTREACH
1) Tri-Fold Developed to Communicate Sewer Service Charge Relief to
Customers Due to COVID-19 Pandemic
As a way of providing customers some relief stemming from the economic impacts of the
COVID-19 pandemic, on May 7, 2020, the Board authorized financial relief for customers
by not collecting the previously approved Sewer Service Charge incremental rate
increase for Fiscal Year 2020-21.
In addition, on May 21, 2020, the Board authorized a reduction in Sewer Service Charges
for all K-12 schools within the service area based on the reduced number of school days
attended during the County Shelter-in-Place Order occurring in Fiscal Year 2019-20. All
refunds will be applied to the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Sewer Service Charge.
Attached is a copy of the flyer that is being sent to all affected customers explaining the
Sewer Service Charge relief program.
