ISSUE
A resolution of the Board of Directors is required to accept offers of dedication of sanitary sewer
easements as depicted on subdivision maps that convey real estate property interest to Central San.

With Jobs 6614 and 6673, located in the Town of Danville, the developers constructed public sanitary
sewers within sanitary sewer easements. To provide the necessary land rights to the public sanitary

sewers, the property owners, on behalf of the developers, offered to Central San sanitary sewer
easements on Final Maps that were filed with the Contra Costa County Recorder.
ALT ERNAT IVES/CONSIDERAT IONS
The Board could decline to accept the offer of dedication of sanitary sewer easements. This alternative is
not recommended since Central San would not have the land rights necessary to reconstruct, maintain, or
operate the public sanitary sewers that have been accepted from the developers and are now owned by
Central San.
FINANCIAL IMPACTS
The offer of dedication of sanitary sewer easements as depicted on said subdivision maps were acquired
at no cost to Central San.
COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION
This item was not reviewed by a Board committee.
RECOMMENDED BOARD ACTION
Adopt a resolution accepting the offer of dedication of sanitary sewer easements as depicted on Minor
Subdivision Map 851-15 and Subdivision Map 9437 as stated in attached proposed resolution from the
property owner on behalf of the developers, as related to Jobs 6614 and 6673, located in the Town of
Danville.
