SUBJECT: RECEIVE REPORT ON LEVEE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WITH THE
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT
At the September 19, 2019 Board Meeting, the Board requested a staff report on the joint Flood Control
Levee Improvement Project. Staff will review the attached presentation during the meeting.

• April 4, 2013: Position Paper to adopt Resolution 2013-008
accepting the Integrated Regional Water Management Plan and
authorizing executing other related documents as may be
necessary to acquire and process grant funding
• June 20, 2013: Board Announcement that County did not
receive the grant funding
• July 16, 2013: Presentation to Enterprise Committee regarding
LCounty's request to jointly fund the project
