ISSUE
A resolution of the Board of Directors is required to accept offers of dedications of sanitary sewer
easements as depicted on subdivision maps and to accept grants of irrevocable offers of dedication
(10 D) of sanitary sewer easements that convey real estate property interest to Central San.

BACKGROUND
With Job 6576, located in Moraga, the Developer, Summerhill RL LLC, a California Limited Liability
Company, constructed public sanitary sewers within sanitary sewer easements on lands the Developer
owned and across an adjoiner property owned by East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD). To provide
the necessary land rights to the public sanitary sewer, the Developer offered to Central San sewer
easements on a Final Map that was filed with Contra Costa County Recorder and also offered easements
from a recorded I OD. As a portion of the public easement offered from the map were for private sewers,
Central San will limit the map acceptance to only those portions of the public easements that are also
described and depicted on said IOD.
Also EB MUD granted Central San an easement that was accepted and authorized to be recorded by
Central San's Board of Directors under Resolution No. 2017-004. No further Board action is required for
this recorded easement.
ALTERNATIVES/CONSIDERATIONS
The Board could decline to accept these offers of dedication of sewer easements. This alternative is not
recommended since Central San would not have the land rights necessary to reconstruct, maintain or
operate the public sanitary sewers that have been accepted from the Developer and are now owned by
Central San.
FINANCIAL IMPACTS
The offers of dedication of sanitary sewer easements, as depicted on said subdivision map and from the
recorded 10 D, were acquired at no cost to Central San.
COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION
This item was not reviewed by a Board committee.
RECOMMENDED BOARD ACTION
Adopt a resolution accepting a Grant of Irrevocable Offer of Dedication of a Sanitary Sewer Easement
and accepting a portion of the offer of dedication of a sewer easement as depicted on Subdivision Map
9330 and as stated in the attached resolution from Summerhill RL LLC, a California Limited Liability
Company, in Moraga.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA SANITARY DISTRICT
ACCEPTING AN OFFER OF DEDICATION FROM
AN IRREVOCABLE OFFER OF DEDICATION AND
ACCEPTING A PORTION OF THE OFFERS OF DEDICATION
OF SANITARY SEWER EASEMENTS AS DEPICTED ON SUBDIVISION MAP 9330
AS RELATED TO JOB 6576
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of Central Contra Costa Sanitary District
(Central San) as follows:
THAT Central San hereby accepts the sanitary sewer easements from a Grant of
Irrevocable Offer of Dedication recorded on February 5, 2018 as Document Series
2018-0018054 with Contra Costa County Recorder; and
THAT for the subdivision map, titled "Subdivision 9330, Rancho Laguna II", which was
filed on July 9, 2015 in Book 524 of Maps at Pages 24-44 as Document Series 2015-
142291 with Contra Costa County Recorder, Central San hereby accepts only those
portions of the sanitary sewer easements that are also described and depicted in said
offered Grant of Irrevocable Offer of Dedication; and
THAT staff is authorized to record this resolution with the Contra Costa County
Recorder.
