Reiriew of 2018 Pollution Prevention Report,Central Contra Costa Sanitary District
In 2018,the District collected 2,218,704 pounds of hazardous waste,37 pounds of mercury-containing
devices,26,192 pounds of pesticides,and 16,878 pounds of pharmaceuticals.These numbers speak
volumes.Additionally,the District promoted P2 practices through its collaborations with Sustainable
Contra Costa and Delta Discovery Voyage]We also appreciate the District's continued involvement in
the Bay Area Pollution Prevention Group.
