ENERGY CONSUMPTION— QUARTERLY UPDATE
1) Update on Central San's Energy Usage — Third Quarter 2018
Central San actively tracks greenhouse (GHG) emissions to optimize the use of energy at
its facilities in the most cost-effective and environmentally responsible manner. Attached
is a breakdown of Central San's energy usage for the month of September 2018 along
with a comparison of the energy used during the third quarter of the calendar year. The
decrease in energy costs from June to September are due to stable cogeneration
production during peak season.
