NEXT STEPS
• Kuhn fabricated a new housing and Vulcan modified the washer
compactor to eliminate the ledge. Modified washer compactor
at the Vulcan Facility in Iowa.
• Vulcan procured custom fabricated brushes with longer bristles.
New brushes are en route to the Vulcan Facility.
• Vulcan to assemble the new unit and perform factory tests with
gravel. Confirm no catastrophic failures are present.
• Vulcan to ship the new unit to Central San by the end of first
week of November.
• Washer compactor switchover tentatively scheduled for the
week of November 12.
