SUBJECT: ADOPT RESOLUTION NOS. 2018-022 THROUGH 2018-026 RECOGNIZING
2018 SERVICE AWARD RECIPIENTS
The District recognizes employees for their service at each five-year interval of their employment. The
attached proposed group resolution recognizes all employees eligible for service awards in 2018.
Each service award recipient with 20 or more years with the District will also receive an individual,
personalized resolution. This year's recipients are:
Tamara Fong (30 years) - Resolution No. 2018-023
Mohammad Wali (30 years) - Resolution No. 2018-024
Michael Furtado (25 years) - Resolution No. 2018-025
Todd Smithey (20 years) - Resolution No. 2018-026
The proposed resolutions for these individuals are available for review at the below listed location and will
be uploaded to the District's website upon adoption.

RESOLUTION NO. 2018-022
A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING
CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA SANITARY DISTRICT
EMPLOYEE SERVICE AWARD RECIPIENTS
WHEREAS, the good reputation and positive community relationships of an
organization are dependent on its competent, hard-working employees; and
WHEREAS, the continuing dedication and knowledge of experienced, long-term
employees is a significant asset to the District; and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the District to recognize and honor these employees for
their service; and
WHEREAS, the collective efforts and dedication of these experienced and capable
employees have contributed to the District's ability to consistently meet permit and
regulatory requirements and have shaped the District into a nationally acclaimed
wastewater collection and treatment agency while serving the needs of the District's
customers with efficiency and fiscal responsibility.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Central Contra
Costa Sanitary District, that service awards are presented with appreciation to the
following named employees:
30 years of service: Tamara Fong and Mohammad Wali
25 years of service: Michael Furtado
20 years of service: Todd Smithey
15 years of service: Leo Gonzalez, Jose Plascencia, and Salvador Rosales
10 years of service: James Alexander, Jackeline Campos, Rita Cheng,
Justin Covington, Jason Crowe, Christina Gee, Chris Hesse, Bonnie Keeton,
Stephanie King, Michael Muhlestein, Nancy Parker, Michelle Tarantino,
Matthew Thomas, Justin Waples, Mark Wenslawski, and Casey Wheable
5 years of service: David Bagar, Roger Bailey, Rigoberto Casarez, Imran Chaudhary,
Jason DeGroot, Douglas Little, Matthew Mahoney, James Ramirez, Lupe Saldana,
Nohemi Sanchez, and Kathrine Woolridge; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution is presented in unanimous
recognition and acknowledgment of the continuing service and unwavering dedication of
these outstanding employees.
