Board Direction Suggestions

1. Establish 2017 as the first year
2. Reject current Annual Report and Strategic Plan as incomplete - Required cures for the
current Annual Report and Strategic Plan to be accepted by the Board; resubmitted within
calendar 30 days or Board may consider termination of the lease.
a. Add statements to annual report of whether AgLantis met all requirements for 2017
year one operation of the lease
b. Correct staff identified misstatements in the documents
c. Remove the C3 discussion from the Annual Report
d. Revise language regarding fire requirements to reflect actual COA conditions as early
as Oct 2014
e. Correct the timeline for Board actions regarding the MOU and lease for the farm
f. Correct the information on the Kick-off event
g. Revise year 3 (2019)to comply with the lease requirements.
h. Revise requirements for the greenhouse construction to comply with the lease
requirements and the November 17, 2017 milestones.
i. Prepare detailed schedule for the teaching plan curriculum that meets the 2018
requirement for completion in year 2
j. Change in product availability for 2021 or 2024 is unacceptable and must be revised
to meet the lease schedules
k. Add requirement for continuing quarterly progress reports that includes updated
spreadsheet of COA—next report due by July 15, 2018 and every quarter thereafter
until at least the end of year three when evaluation of the program will be considered.
1. Resubmit updated COA and budget from November 2017 within 30 days
in. Resubmit revised Annual Report and Strategic Plan no later than June 17, 2018.
