The Board adopted this plan on March 1, 2018 pending this approval. As a result, Central San now has an approved and adopted Hazard Mitigation Plan for the next five years. 2) FEMA Cost Recovery Received FEMA Recovery— Central San has received a check from the Public Assistance program for damages arising out of one of the projects arising from the January 2017 winter storms. The check for $25,819 comprises the full federal share (75%) for trench damage on the San Carlos Drive incident in Walnut Creek. The state share of this reimbursement will be forthcoming in a separate check. Requests for reimbursement on two other projects related to the January 2017 winter storms were also submitted, both stemming from the emergency situation on Minor Road in Orinda. One request covered the emergency protective measures and the other for the permanent pipe repairs). Both claims are still in process. RECYCLED WATER 3) Residential Recycled Water Fill Station Operating Schedule for 2018 With near "Miracle-March" rainfall totals and more wet weather expected the remainder of the spring, mandatory potable water use restrictions are not expected in 2018. Because of this, it is anticipated that Residential Recycled Water Fill Station (fill station) demand in 2018 will be similar to what was observed in 2017. As such, the fill station will operate during the same hours as the Household Hazardous Waste Facility (Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) for the remainder of 2018.
