AOL Central Contra Costa Sanitary District January 4, 2018 TO: HONORABLE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FROM: ANN K. SASAKI, DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER REVIEWED BY: ROGER S. BAILEY, GENERAL MANAGER SUBJECT: ADOPT PROPOSED REVISIONS TO CENTRAL SAN'S VISION, MISSION, VALUES AND GOALS EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2018 The Board Members reviewed the District's current Vision, Mission, Values and Goals (VMV&G ) at a Board Workshop on December 11, 2017 and recommended several changes to become effective July 1, 2018. The revised Goals will be utilized by staff in developing the next two-year Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2018-20. Attached are two versions of the revised VMV&Gs. Version 1 reflects the Board's input from the Workshop in strikeout. It is a literal translation of the changes proposed during the meeting; however, it should be noted that the Board Members were unable to see the totality of their proposed changes at the Workshop. Staff has since had an opportunity to review the proposed changes and, upon reflection, recommends that a couple of minor adjustments as reflected in Version 2 might better reflect the Board's intention. Both Versions 1 and 2 will be projected on the screen during the meeting for discussion purposes before the Board acts to adopt the updated VMV&Gs effective July 1, 2018. ATTACHMENTS: 1.
