projects "contained within the existing
space of a single family residence or
accessory structure . "

of an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU ) from
Gov't Code section 65852 .2
Amend Capacity Fee schedule to include
waiver of capacity fees for ADUs "contained
within existing space"
proportionate capacity fees for other ADUs
(projects larger than the 1 ,200 square foot maximum would continue to pay capacity fee for
1 MFR unit)
