BACKGROUND: The subject easements are needed for sewer segments included in the Martinez Sewer Renovation, Phase 5. Hamill 1350 Ulfinian Way, Martinez 374-155-001 Exchange TRE, et al Also, a portion of Central San's existing sewer pipe is located under the apartment building located at 1350 Ulfinian Way in Martinez. Once Central San accepts the new easement from Stephen A. Hamill TRE, et al, that portion of the existing sewer pipe will be relocated within the new easement. In exchange for the new easement, Central San will quitclaim its easement for the portion of easement that is located under the apartment building. Staff has concluded that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Central San CEQA Guidelines Section 15305, since it involves a minor alteration in land use limitations. Approval of this project will establish the Board of Directors' independent finding that this action is exempt from CEQA. ALTERNATIVES/CONSIDERATIONS: None. Hamill, TRE et al; Adopt a resolution authorizing the President of the Board of Directors and the Secretary of the Central San to execute a Quitclaim Deed to Stephan A.
