AWARDS AND COMMENDATIONS
d) Another Award Received at the California Water Environment
Association (CWEA) Annual Conference
The CWEA Annual State Awards Event was held on April 28, 2017 in Palm Springs. In
addition to the eight awards previously announced, Central San won an award for its
“Maintaining the Flow” video in the category: Film Festival, Public Education – Semi-
Professional – Second Place. The “Maintaining the Flow” video takes viewers on a brief
tour touching on all aspects of what the Collection System Operations Department does
on a daily basis to keep wastewater in the pipes, off of the streets, and out of viewers’
homes.
