younger children stayed and enjoyed a Water Wizards presentation. Activities in the
Multi-Purpose Room included decoration of Styrofoam frames, word puzzles, a photo
booth, and activity books. TV and Vactor trucks from CSO were also stationed outside
near the pool car area for children to visit and watch demonstrations. The day culminated
with field activities for all. All children were also given the opportunity to visit work areas
throughout the day or at the end of the event, and visit the EAO (Employee Activity
Organization) Bake Sale. The event concluded with lunch for the children and all
participants, and a raffle of donated prices.
Initial feedback of the event was positive and employees seemed very grateful that
Central San sponsors this event. Since the event has been held at Central San, the 70
children were most Central San has ever hosted. It was a busy but fun day for all.

exploring new energy technologies, including alternative sources of energy (e.g., solar;
wind; biogas; fats, oils and grease (FOG); green wastes) to further optimize the District's
energy utilization and strive towards energy neutrality.
