• December 5, 2016—Convening of the 2017-18 Session
• January 1, 2017—Statutes take effect
• January 4—Legislature reconvenes
• January 10— Budget Bill must be submitted by Governor
• January 20—Last day to submit bill requests to Leg Counsel
• February 17—Last day for bills to be introduced
• April 6—Spring Recess begins

• April 17—Legislature reconvenes from Spring Recess
• April 28—Last day for policy committees to hear and report
fiscal bills for referral to fiscal committees (Senate/Assembly)
