ADJOURNMENT 40 Recyced Paper Central Contra costa Sanitary District April 29, 2005 TO: BOARD FINANCE COMMITTEE FROM: RANDALL MUSGRAVES DEBBIE RATCLI FF SUBJECT: April 18, 2005 Finance Committee Meeting There were several outstanding questions from the last Board Finance Committee meeting which required additional staff research. The questions and answers are provided below: 1. Page 10, 155101 County of Contra Costa -Why does the District pay the County for aerial photos? The County flies the whole area of Contra Costa County and takes aerial photographs in full color. The total cost for this is $150,000, however the District's portion of the total cost is $7,500. The County, Clean Water Program, CCCSD and Ironhouse Sanitary District all use the photos and share the cost. The District finds these photos to be quite useful at the Permit Counter and in the mapping section (GDI) of the Engineering Department. 2. claims Report-- Springbrook Road Is Roto Roaster limiting the reimbursement amount to the District? f No. The comment on the claims report was not updated. Roto Rooter has agreed to pay the full cost to the District.
