Lagiss Property- Solar Power
Lease
• Assess if there is any interest in leasing out the Lagiss
property as a solar farm.
• Currently the property is leased for grazing.
• Right of Way researched solar companies.
• Those companies were contacted to gauge if there
would be any interest in a lease.
• One company has responded and it was to clarify the
current scope of the project.
• The Right of Way section has contacted the companies
again asking for updates of their review.
• Challenges could include the properties topography and
the fact that the District might not using the solar power.
