The picture entitled "CCCSD furnace repair" features from left to right, Maintenance Tech III Don "Bo" Botelli, Mechanical Supervisor Tom Brown, and Maintenance Tech I Jon Nicolaus. CWEA's 2016 Conference Co -Chair Greg Chung stated the photo won because it "showed teamwork and a lot of action and muscle." A big congratulations to Media Production Technician Joseph Zumbo who took the amazing photo to showcase the hard work of our amazing employees for District publications. Mr. Zumbo will win a $100 prize which he promises to share in the form of cupcakes for his peers. Additional Written Announcements April 21, 2016 Page 2 of 2 CASA EDUCATION FOUNDATION d) Thank You Received for District's Recent Donation to CASA Education Foundation On February 18, 2016, the Board of Directors unanimously authorized annual $5,000 donations to the California Association of Sanitation Agencies (CASA) Education Foundation commencing with the current fiscal year. Scholarships from the fund relate to the wastewater industry and are aimed at fostering a high caliber of future employees to deal with issues facing the industry. The CASA Education Foundation has sent a letter thanking the District for its recent $5,000 donation, a copy of which is attached.
