2015 DAYS OF OPERATION AND STAFFING
• Fill station days of operation and hours
Mon -Fri 8am to 6pm, Sat -Sun Sam to 4pm
Open 4 hours on 4th of July and Memorial Day
holidays
• Staffing
15 temporary staff to manage the fill station while it
was open 7 days a week.
HHW staff worked overtime on Sundays to
oversee the fill station.

OPERATIONAL COSTS - 2015
• The cost to operate the station in 2015
was $275,425, which was predominately
staffing.
CAPACITY OF THE HHW FILL STATION
• The capacity of the fill station is 467 cars per day
(based on the 7 hoses that are available, the time
that it takes to fill the typical size container (-9
min/275 gallons) and the number of hours the
station is open.)
The wait time during the June to October period
averaged about 50 minutes.

GAME PLAN FOR 2016
• Continue residential service at HHW — 500 cars
max/day: Include $350,000 in O&M budget
• Review expansion of the truck fill program with
automated system to allow residential customers
with large containers (300 gal totes) to self fill
with minimal supervision.
