BAILEY, GENERAL MANAGER ANN SASAKI, DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER(�V FROM: TEJI O'MALLEY, HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGE SUBJECT: DISTRICT EXECUTIVE TEAM COMPENSATION SUMMARY As requested by the Administration Committee, attached are tables detailing each element of compensation and corresponding dollar value provided to members of the District's executive team. The tables list the annual compensation for the General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Director of Administration, Director of Engineering and Technical Services, and the Secretary of the District as of December 21, 2015. Additionally, the Committee requested that any "me too" clauses that may be embedded in each of the aforementioned employees' contracts/MOUs be detailed and reported out to the Committee. Annual value of PTO is included in the base salary annual amount since no additional pay is given when leave is taken. At separation, EE would be eligible to receive the dollar value of the remainder of PTO accruals (up to a maximum of 2 years worth of accruals). EE is not eligible to cash out any accruals during employment. 2. Annual dollar value of 13 District holidays is included in EE base salary amount. The District does not pay EE for holiday hours nor can they be cashed out during or after employment. 3. This amount reflects the amount that the District pays towards the EE's share of the normal cost. For FY 2015-16, the District is paying 4.25% of EE's share. Effective April 18, 2017, the District will no longer be paying any portion of the EE's share. EE is currently paying 8.45% of pensionable compensation towards his share. 4. As the District does not participate in Social Security, an amount equivalent to 6.2% of salary is contributed to a DC account. However, the amount cannot exceed 6.2% of the SS wage base (2015=$118,500). 5. EE received a flat amount for relocation at the time of hire in 2013.
